The snapshot trap
Rankings describe a position at a point in time. They do not tell you whether the underlying system is strengthening or weakening.
Two horizons
The latest master carries both approximately 3-year and 20-year trend labels. The historical master allows exact changes, rolling averages and persistence tests once connected.
No mechanical forecast
Momentum is descriptive. A recent improvement does not guarantee continuation, and a long decline does not guarantee further deterioration.
Research standard: framework notes explain measurement logic. They are not presented as empirical findings unless a cited data analysis supports them.
